TY - GEN T1 - Interview with Albert Ward AU - Ward, Albert AB - An interview of Oconee County resident Albert Ward conducted in September 2014. He was born in the county in 1927. He graduated from UGA with a degree in Geograhy in 1950, left to work with the C.I.A. creating maps in Washington D.C., and returned to Oconee in 2008 for retirement. He recalls the safer and less materialistic lifestyle he lived growing up, the education system he grew up with, and his high school graduating class. He also speaks about segregation in public schools and the Watkinsville Cemetery.
